Pi Network has issued a crucial reminder to its users: they must complete the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification process by November 30, 2024. This comes as part of Pi’s efforts to prepare for the long-awaited mainnet launch, which the Pi community has eagerly anticipated. Originally, the deadline was set for the end of September, but it was later extended to ensure more users had the opportunity to comply.

The KYC process, known as the Grace Period, is essential for users to maintain eligibility within the Pi Network ecosystem. Pi Network has implemented an individual Grace Period timer for each user. This timer continues counting down unless the user is blocked by specific factors like ineligibility, delays in processing, or being stuck in KYC for more than a month. Pausing will occur in cases where users face processing delays, maintaining fairness in the system.

Pi Network’s roadmap has faced several delays, leaving some community members frustrated. However, with this extended deadline, the project is one step closer to achieving the open mainnet phase, where buying and selling of Pi tokens will potentially be enabled.

The Pi Core Team is expected to release more information on the mainnet roadmap in December, shedding light on what lies ahead for Pi token holders and the project’s broader objectives.
