However, X Community Notes clarified that Dogecoin has over 14,000 active nodes, and the flaw has since been resolved with the latest update.

“The numbers being talked about are sensational but not entirely accurate,” Lumin clarified. “However, the incident underscores the importance of keeping nodes updated to prevent such vulnerabilities from being exploited.”
