The period between April and September 2024 saw Bitcoin’s price fluctuating between $54,000 and $63,000. Despite this price range, institutional investors have been gradually stepping back from short positions, indicating a more neutral or even cautiously optimistic stance towards the cryptocurrency.

This drop in short positions aligns with Bitcoin’s price stability, as the market has experienced minimal downward pressure during this time. The reduced volume of aggressive shorting indicates that institutions may be closing out their short positions or shifting towards long positions, reflecting a more positive sentiment.
