TREAD Trading Goes Live on Kraken

Kraken has announced that TREAD is available for trading on its platform. According to the exchange, funding and trading for the token went live on September 16, 2026.

TREAD is the utility token used within tread.fi. Kraken describes tread.fi as an algorithmic trading terminal and agentic trading ecosystem for digital asset markets.

The listing expands the assets available through Kraken, although the exchange noted that availability can vary by feature, liquidity conditions and location.

TREAD funding and trading are live

Kraken stated that customers can fund and trade TREAD following the September 16 launch. The announcement identifies TREAD as the token associated with tread.fi.

The exchange’s announcement establishes platform availability but does not provide further details in the supplied information on trading pairs, supported networks or market activity.

Some access depends on liquidity and location

Kraken said trading through its app and Instant Buy would become available once liquidity conditions were met. This means availability through those interfaces may not coincide with the initial funding and trading launch.

Kraken continues product and asset updates

The TREAD listing is part of Kraken’s continuing exchange updates. Separately, Kraken has announced trading availability for other tokens, including ONE, the ONEchain Token.
