Bitget Wallet Embraces Solana Pay to Power Global Scan-to-Pay Crypto Transactions

Bitget Wallet has integrated Solana Pay to allow global scan-to-pay crypto payments, enhancing real-world utility and positioning itself as a leader in crypto usability.

Bitget Wallet, a top-tier non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet, has announced its global integration of Solana Pay, a move set to revolutionize everyday crypto transactions for its user base.

In a statement shared with CryptoNews, Bitget Wallet confirmed that this update significantly advances the wallet’s capabilities for real-world applications, reflecting the company’s broader mission to make crypto more than just tradable—but genuinely usable.

Thanks to Solana Pay’s framework, Bitget users can now scan QR codes to make payments using Solana-based tokens like USDC, facilitating purchases both online and in physical stores. This system removes intermediaries, enabling direct wallet-to-merchant transfers. Additionally, Bitget has stated that support for regional QR standards, particularly across Southeast Asia and Latin America, is planned—marking a major step in the globalization of accessible crypto payments.

The Broader PayFi Vision

This milestone is part of Bitget’s broader PayFi suite, which includes a set of financial tools designed to normalize crypto in everyday commerce.

The integration of Solana Pay was made possible through a collaboration with Venta, a Solana-powered payments provider. Venta CEO K. highlighted the openness and scalability of the solution:

Solana Ecosystem Integration Expands

Beyond payments, Bitget Wallet users can now:

• Trade on Jupiter DEX
• Stake SOL
• Perform cross-chain swaps
• Recover unused SOL via rent refunds

Bitget also provides MEV protection, gas fee subsidies through GetGas, and direct access to thousands of Solana DApps, making it a robust gateway into the Solana ecosystem.

To highlight these new capabilities, Bitget will feature as a major partner at the Solana Summit 2025 in Da Nang, Vietnam (June 5–7). The team will run live product demos, developer workshops, and host community-focused events.

Bitget Also Lists RLUSD by Ripple

In parallel with these developments, Bitget has listed Ripple’s new USD-backed stablecoin, RLUSD, reinforcing its role as a market leader in the stablecoin segment.

RLUSD, issued by Ripple, is backed 1:1 with U.S. dollar reserves and is natively deployed on both the XRP Ledger (XRPL) and Ethereum, offering a compelling interoperability advantage for institutions.
