Arbitrum Funds $1M Trailblazer 2.0 to Ignite Agentic DeFi and Vibekit Innovation

Arbitrum Trailblazer 2.0 offers $1M in grants to boost agent-based DeFi using Vibekit, encouraging real-world tools, Farcaster apps, and ecosystem expansion.
The Arbitrum Foundation has launched Trailblazer 2.0, a $1 million grant initiative designed to advance intelligent agent development in decentralized finance (DeFi). The program is focused on supporting developers who build with Vibekit, a modular framework developed by Ember that enables the creation of high-efficiency automated agents on the Arbitrum network.
Grants of up to $10,000 per project will be awarded to proposals demonstrating real-world utility. The emphasis is on tools that enhance the broader ecosystem, including reusable DeFi strategy templates, analytical dashboards, and agent-based mini-applications for platforms like Farcaster.

Trailblazer 2.0 seeks solutions that deliver measurable impact. High-priority categories include integrations with well-known protocols already compatible with Vibekit—such as Aave, GMX, Camelot, and Pendle. These integrations enable developers to build high-speed, low-cost decentralized applications that execute sophisticated financial strategies.

Emerging projects like Hyperbolic, Trendmoon, and Eliza are early adopters of this framework, and additional developers are encouraged to explore the Ember reward board—a system that offers compensation for completing specific development tasks across the ecosystem.
Submissions that push Vibekit’s boundaries—such as backtesting engines, performance trackers, and advanced profit/loss calculators—are especially encouraged. Applications that integrate with Allora, Playgrounds, or make use of autonomous strategies via Farcaster will be viewed favorably.

This initiative highlights Arbitrum’s commitment to becoming a global DeFi infrastructure leader. Trailblazer 2.0 builds a bridge between raw technical innovation and applied financial tools, democratizing access to automation and accelerating development for both novice and veteran contributors.
By supporting open-source collaboration, Arbitrum empowers developers to build agile, scalable, and innovative agent-driven solutions—creating an ecosystem where decentralized intelligence thrives and DeFi becomes more dynamic, inclusive, and creatively expansive.
