OUSD Funding and Trading Go Live on Kraken

Kraken has announced that Open USD (OUSD) is available for funding and trading on its platform.

According to the exchange, OUSD funding and trading went live on September 30, 2026. Kraken published its announcement two days later, on October 2.

The listing adds OUSD to the assets available through Kraken, subject to the platform’s applicable geographic restrictions and liquidity conditions.

Kraken describes Open USD as a stablecoin for businesses operated by Open Standard.

OUSD is now available on Kraken

Kraken confirmed that customers can fund and trade OUSD on the exchange. The company identified September 30 as the date the asset became live for both functions.

The announcement does not provide further details on specific trading pairs, regional availability, or product access. Availability may differ depending on a customer’s location and the Kraken services available in that jurisdiction.

In its listing notice, Kraken describes Open USD as a stablecoin for businesses and identifies Open Standard as its operator.
