Kraken launches multi-account trading for Kraken Prop on Desktop

Kraken announced on October 20, 2026, that multi-account trading is live for Kraken Prop evaluation and funded accounts on Kraken Desktop.

The feature allows a user to designate one account as a leader and copy its trading actions to selected follower accounts. It is designed for users managing more than one eligible Kraken Prop account.

Multi-account trading is available through Kraken Desktop version 1.30.0 or later. Kraken said the function is not currently available through its web or mobile platforms.

How trade copying works

Trades placed on the leader account can be replicated across selected follower accounts. The supported actions include entries, exits, stop-losses, take-profits, amendments, cancellations and position closes.

Users can choose exact sizing or proportional sizing for follower accounts. Exact sizing copies the leader’s trade size, while proportional sizing adjusts the follower trade size proportionally.

Desktop-only availability

The rollout applies specifically to Kraken Desktop and requires version 1.30.0 or newer. Traders using Kraken’s web or mobile interfaces cannot currently use the multi-account trading feature.

The launch expands Kraken’s desktop trading tools for Kraken Prop participants, separate from recent exchange product updates such as Kraken’s Unified Wallet availability for EEA clients on Kraken Pro and new USDsui funding and trading support.

What users should check

Eligible users will need to update Kraken Desktop to version 1.30.0 or later before using the feature. They can then select a leader account and designate the follower accounts that should receive copied trading actions.

Trade copying can replicate both trade execution and subsequent order-management actions. Users should understand their selected sizing method and account setup before enabling copying across accounts.
