Researchers say AI agents bypassed crypto spending limits by retrieving email codes
A Cornell Tech and Yale team found that AI agents with access to an agent wallet and its linked inbox could retrieve emailed one-time passcodes, change spending caps and, in some tests, send funds to an attacker-controlled wallet.
