Trump Media Unveils $6.4B CRO Crypto Treasury in Strategic Alliance with Crypto com
Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) is launching a $6.4 billion digital-treasury venture for CRO tokens in partnership with Crypto.com and Yorkville SPAC, intensifying the Trump family’s crypto footprint amid favorable regulatory winds.
In a bold expansion of the Trump family’s cryptocurrency ambitions, Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) has partnered with Crypto.com and Yorkville Acquisition Corp. (SPAC) to launch Trump Media Group CRO Strategy, Inc., a crypto-focused treasury company. The venture is backed by a $6.4 billion funding vehicle that includes:
- $1 billion in CRO tokens (roughly 19% of its market cap)
- $200 million in cash
- $220 million in warrants
- A $5 billion equity credit line from Yorkville Advisors’ affiliate

The SPAC merger will bring the new firm to the Nasdaq under the ticker MCGA—a symbolic nod as “Make CRO Great Again” .
Complementing this treasury strategy, TMTG will fully integrate CRO as the utility token for its platforms—Truth Social and Truth+—leveraging Crypto.com’s wallet infrastructure. Trump Media has committed to acquiring $105 million in CRO, while Crypto.com will invest $50 million in TMTG stock .
Reacting to the announcement, CRO surged ~30–35%, and TMTG’s stock jumped ~5–6%
The initiative is the latest salvo in the Trump family’s aggressive push into digital assets, following earlier moves including a proposed Bitcoin treasury, a crypto ETF plan under Truth.Fi, and the launch of meme coins and a stablecoin. Regulatory alignment through policies like the GENIUS Act and crypto-friendly executive orders have supported this strategy .
