Trade War Tensions Push Bitcoin Below $110K — Are Support Levels Crumbling?

Rising U.S.–China trade tensions have reignited volatility across global markets, with Bitcoin dropping below $110,000 as investors reassess macro risk. Analysts warn that if support breaks, a deeper correction could follow.

Bitcoin price slipped under the $110,000 mark this morning as renewed trade war fears between the United States and China shook investor confidence. The move follows Washington’s latest announcement of additional tariffs on Chinese maritime and tech goods, prompting Beijing to respond with its own measures targeting critical exports.

The crypto market reacted almost instantly. Within hours, Bitcoin lost 4.7% of its weekly gains, wiping out its short-term bullish momentum. Ethereum and other large-cap coins mirrored the move, while stablecoin demand spiked across Asian exchanges, indicating a flight to safety.

Analysts from Glassnode and CryptoQuant noted that liquidation clusters were forming near $108K — a key technical area that has held since September. If that level gives way, Bitcoin could retrace toward $104K, where major institutional bids are expected.

Still, not everyone is bearish. Some traders argue that BTC’s quick rebound attempts show resilient spot demand, especially from Asia. “Bitcoin is behaving more like digital gold than a speculative tech asset in these macro storms,” said trader @CryptoKaleo on X.

Whether Bitcoin holds or breaks will likely depend on how the geopolitical headlines evolve in coming days.
