CryptoJobsList Records 1,241 September Postings as Applications Decline

CryptoJobsList recorded 1,241 crypto job postings from 125 hiring companies in September 2026, following 886 postings in August and 382 in July. The September total was more than triple the July figure on the platform.

Applications moved in the opposite direction. CryptoJobsList reported 19,605 applications in September, down from 26,728 in July.

The figures point to a widening gap between listed openings and applications on CryptoJobsList during the period. However, the platform data does not establish why applications declined, and it should not be treated as a measure of the entire crypto labor market.

September listings rise from July and August

The reported increase took CryptoJobsList postings from 382 in July to 886 in August and then to 1,241 in September. The September count covers listings posted by 125 hiring companies.

The data shows activity on one crypto-focused employment platform. It does not demonstrate that hiring rose by the same amount across the broader digital-asset industry.

  • July: 382 job postings
  • August: 886 job postings
  • September: 1,241 job postings
  • September hiring companies: 125

Applications fall despite more openings

Applications on CryptoJobsList declined to 19,605 in September from 26,728 in July. The available data documents the change in application volume but does not identify a cause.

As a result, the reported figures cannot by themselves prove a sector-wide shortage of candidates or determine whether employers faced greater difficulty filling roles. Related industry developments, including institutional infrastructure discussions, remain separate from this platform-specific hiring data.

  • July applications: 26,728
  • September applications: 19,605
