During a fireside chat at the Bitcoin Investor Day conference, Cathie Wood, CEO of Ark Invest, hailed Bitcoin as a “financial super highway” with crucial use cases in emerging economies. She highlighted Bitcoin role as both a risk-off and risk-on asset, particularly in countries like Nigeria, where currency depreciation has spurred adoption.

Ark Invest spot Bitcoin ETF, ARKB, has gained traction since its launch, reflecting growing institutional interest in Bitcoin. Wood suggested that with increased institutional participation, Bitcoin’s price could surpass $3.5 million. While she refrained from specifying a new target, she reiterated her previous forecast of $1.5 million, affirming Bitcoin long-term potential.
