Bitcoin Millionaires Surge Over 100% in the Past Year, Says New Report

According to Henley and Partners Crypto Wealth Report 2024, the number of Bitcoin millionaires has more than doubled to 85,400 as of July 30. The report also highlights a significant increase in the number of crypto centimillionaires and billionaires, reflecting the growing wealth within the cryptocurrency market.

The number of Bitcoin millionaires has surged dramatically over the past year, more than doubling to 85,400 according to the latest Crypto Wealth Report from Henley and Partners. The report, covering the period from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, also reveals that the total number of individuals with crypto assets valued over $1 million has grown by 95%, reaching 172,300—up from 88,200 in the previous year.

This substantial growth is part of a broader trend in the cryptocurrency world, where digital assets continue to gain value and attract new investors. The report also notes a significant rise in crypto centimillionaires, those holding more than $100 million in digital assets, which increased by 79% to 325 individuals. Additionally, the number of crypto billionaires has expanded, with six new additions in the past year, bringing the total to 28.

Henley and Partners’ data is based on internal wealth models and information from major cryptocurrency platforms, including CoinMarketCap, Binance, BscScan, and Etherscan. The figures, rounded to the nearest hundred, provide a clear picture of the growing wealth in the crypto space, driven by increasing adoption and the rising value of major digital currencies like Bitcoin.
