Samsung Wallet Plans USDC Transfers for Eligible U.S. Galaxy Users, With Solana Support
Samsung Electronics America said Samsung Wallet will introduce stablecoin functionality for eligible Galaxy users in the United States during the last week of October 2026. USDC will be the first supported stablecoin under the planned rollout.
Samsung said users will be able to send USDC to compatible crypto wallets internationally and to qualifying bank accounts in more than 60 countries. The company said the feature is expected to be available across 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices at launch.
Solana and Sui are among the infrastructure and blockchain network partners named by Samsung. Solana separately said the integration will support USDC cross-border transfers on its network.

Samsung sets October rollout for U.S. users
The announced feature is limited at launch to eligible U.S. Galaxy users. Samsung has identified USDC as the initial stablecoin available through Samsung Wallet.
The company described transfers as available to compatible crypto wallets internationally, while transfers to bank accounts will depend on whether the destination account qualifies. Samsung said the bank-account transfer coverage will extend to more than 60 countries.
- Launch timing: the last week of October 2026.
- Initial supported stablecoin: USDC.
- Availability: eligible Galaxy users in the United States.
Solana named among network partners
Samsung's announcement identifies Solana and Sui among separate partners providing infrastructure and blockchain network support for the stablecoin functionality. That description does not characterize the initiative as an exclusive Samsung-Solana partnership.
Solana's own announcement states that Samsung Wallet will support USDC cross-border transfers on Solana. The two announcements align on Solana's role in the rollout while Samsung's description places it within a broader partner group.
Device reach and network context
Samsung said the capability is expected to reach 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices at launch. The figure describes the expected device availability for the feature, while use remains subject to eligibility and the stated transfer requirements.

The rollout adds a consumer-wallet distribution channel for USDC transfers, but Samsung's announcement does not provide further operational details on supported wallet providers, qualifying bank-account criteria, or availability outside the initial U.S. user group.
